The problem isn’t the trades.
K2 Prime was formed around a basic observation. Projects usually don't struggle because qualified trades don't exist. They struggle because scope ownership, coordination, procurement, communication, timing, and accountability break down between the parties doing the work.
The excavation contractor finished. The fence crew is waiting on the survey. The tanks arrived but the hauler wasn't scheduled. Everyone did their job, and the project still slipped a month.
K2 Prime was created to close those gaps — to be the party that understands the requirement, assembles the right resources, coordinates execution across them, and owns the outcome.
Kenn Kreutzer
Founder and Managing Member. Retired United States Navy Chief Petty Officer, nearly twenty-one years of service, with Naval Special Warfare leadership assignments across three combat zones — followed by industrial maintenance and capital project management on the plant floor.
Leadership in special operations is not about the operating. It is about planning under pressure, logistics that cannot fail, people who have to be led rather than managed, and accountability that does not move when conditions do. That is the discipline this company runs on, and it was forged somewhere the consequences were immediate.
Two careers, one habit
Both of them came down to the same thing: being packed, being ready, and being the person who owns whether the job got done. The bags changed. The standard did not.
2026 — Present
Owner & Managing Member, K2 Prime LLC
Project planning, coordination, procurement, quality, safety, and contract administration across federal, state, industrial, commercial, and agricultural work.
2023 — 2026
Maintenance Manager, Ethanol Production Facility
Ran maintenance, reliability, and capital project execution at a Texas Panhandle ethanol plant. Directed every trade on site through plant shutdowns and capital work — millwrights, electrical, plumbing, roofing, structural and non-structural, and concrete — from engineering and plan review through scope development, bid, schedule, execution, and turnover. Owned contractor screening and performance management, procurement, budget and cost control, safety, and documentation across a maintenance budget of roughly $5 million.
This was direct management, not oversight from a distance. The contracts, the plans, the sequencing, the trade coordination, and the accountability for what got built ran through this desk.
2000 — 2021
Chief Petty Officer, United States Navy
Naval Special Warfare and fleet assignments with department-head leadership responsibility for logistics, armory and ordnance accountability, equipment and asset management, maintenance programs, training and instruction, operational planning, force protection and anti-terrorism planning, contractor interaction, budgeting, and structured approval processes. Master Training Specialist qualified. Twenty-six countries, three combat zones.
Military service also meant writing requirements, building scopes, and putting work out for bid — sitting on the government side of the procurement table long before sitting on the contractor side of it.
2021 — 2023
Transition Assistance Advisor
Helped service members and veterans navigate the transition to civilian life — roughly 1,875 veterans assisted, 54 presentations delivered, and 17 retirement coachings. The habit of walking someone through a system they have never seen before started here.
$55M+
Industrial capital improvements under his oversight — contractor coordination, procurement support, budgeting, QA/QC, safety, and documentation.
$12.5M
Major shutdown execution, including maintenance planning, logistics, sequencing, and contractor management inside fixed outage windows.

A door held open behind us.
There is a second reason this company exists.
Government contracting is not hard because the work is hard. It is hard because the process is opaque — registrations, certifications, codes, set-asides, teaming structures, compliance requirements. Plenty of capable veterans and capable people with disabilities can do the work and never get near the opportunity, because nobody ever walked them through the front end of it.
K2 Prime intends to be a company that brings those contractors onto projects as partners, and that shares what it learns about getting registered, getting certified, and getting in the door. Some of that is already how the partner network gets built. The rest is a longer project, and it is one of the reasons this business is worth running.
How we work
Accountability over excuses
When something goes wrong on a project, the useful response is a plan, not an explanation of whose fault it was.
The right resource for the requirement
Matching capability to need, rather than forcing every requirement through whatever is already on the payroll.
Practical solutions
Field conditions decide what works. The answer that survives contact with the site is the right one.
Clear communication
Customers should not have to ask twice for a status. Bad news travels immediately.
Responsible stewardship
Careful with a customer's budget, careful with equipment, and careful with the land a project sits on.
Quality over unnecessary growth
Taking work K2 Prime can execute well, rather than work that makes the company look bigger than it is.
These are not marketing values. K2 Prime is run on the conviction that how you treat people, and how you handle what you have been trusted with, matters more than what you take off a project.
